Frances Del Río -- Resume -- Personal Summary

I'm a very experienced front-end web developer. I'm especially good with coding web pages/sites from design comps. I'm very good with XHTML; I write standards-compliant, semantic, accessible, SEO'd markup. Very good with CSS, jQuery, Photoshop. Very good also with cross-browser (including IE6), and JavaScript degradation. I also know how to code HTML emails.

I have also been learning HTML5/CSS3. I'm not an expert yet, but am getting there; because of mobile devices, HTML5 is in the cards for all front-end developers, of course; I would very much appreciate a job that would offer me the opportunity to further broaden my HTML5/CSS3 knowledge.

I prefer agency/media/publishing; have lots of experience in this sector (among others have lots of experience building pharma web sites).

I work very well in JSP environment; my own website is all JSP. Have decent knowledge of PHP. In general very good with integrating front-end and back-end (templating). In JSP I have worked with scriptlets, struts, custom tags, JSTL, tiles.

URLs to some of my recent work:
-- cubicin.com
-- photo site (client has been doing her own edits - code here might have changed also..)
-- artist site

I'm very very detail-oriented; I enjoy this work and am always very motivated. I have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as good interpersonal skills. I'm proactive and always go the extra mile. I can multi-task; I work well both independently and as part of a team. And I'm always interested in learning new technologies and exploring new ways of doing things.
